Police van, carrying mafia-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed arrived at Prayagraj MP-MLA Court. Security was beefed up outside court premises ahead of the hearing in the Umesh Pal abduction case. The court will hear only the abduction case today and is likely to pronounce the verdict. Atiq Ahmed was brought from Gujarat's Sabarmati Jail to Prayagraj's Naini jail on Mar 27. Umesh Pal, the prime witness in the 2005 murder of BSP MLA Raju Pal murdered on Feb 24.
