Описание к видео PS1 JRPG's (1997 - 2000) Neorude to Aquarian Age – 4 Forgotten PS1 JRPGs

Shorts version. A look at several JRPGs and their opening ten minutes, focusing on titles released for the PlayStation between 1997 and 2000. Featuring 4 titles that were released exclusively in Japan. The first from 1997 is one of the more unique JRPG's that released for the PlayStation with Neorude from Technosoft Co. The game plays out like a point and click game for your party movement the game also does not feature Items names or villages or town with the game being more of a dungeon crawler with players working their way through dungeons fighting enemies and solving puzzles.

The following year would be a spin-off title from the Mitsumete Knight RPG/Dating sim that released earlier in 1998. Mitsumete Knight R Daibouken Hen while this title does feature characters from that game it's story does not reference the events of that game.

Battle Konchūden released in 1999 and is an insect collecting JRPG were players take on the role of young kid that love insects who one day meets a fairy who teaches him about insect fights, the player can then collect various insects that will assist them in battles, the game also features a VS mode where the player can face off against the computer or another player using the various insects they have captured.

The final entry in this episode of very obscure Japanese only releases is probably the most known of the four on account of this title which released in 2000 is based on an established IP. Aquarian Age Tokyo Wars is a strategy tactics JPRG developed by Broccoli and is based on Broccoli's out-of-print Aquarian Age (アクエリアンエイジ, Akuerian Eiji) collectable trading card game, the trading card game received is final booster update in 2013 with it's website ceasing updates in 2017. #jrpg #playstation #retrogaming #neorude #mitsumeteknight #battlekonchuden #aquarianage #dungeoncrawler #datingrpg #strategyjrpg #animegames #obscuregames #japanonly #ps1rpgs #gamingnostalgia
