About NTSE:
NTSE or National Talent Search Examination conducted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). It is a national level exam, conducted only for 10th standard students .The objective of the exam is to provide scholarships to the exemplary students studying in class 10th. It is a matter of great honour and esteem for students to be known as the nation's talent. The exam is conducted in two stages – Stage I and II.

The Stage 1 exam is a state-level exam and is conducted by all the Indian states and UTs. NCERT conducts Stage 2 exam which is a National level examination. Only those students who qualify in NTSE stage 1 will be eligible to appear for the Stage II exam.
