The Our Lady of Fatima appeared in 1917 in Fatima, Portugal, to three shepherd children—Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta. In a time of war and sin, Mary came as a loving Mother to warn the world of the consequences of turning away from God, while offering hope through prayer, repentance, and devotion to her Immaculate Heart. She especially asked for the daily praying of the Rosary for peace and the salvation of souls.

Our Lady of Fatima,
loving Mother and Queen of peace,
lead us back to your Son, Jesus Christ.
Teach us to pray with faithful hearts,
to turn away from sin,
and to trust in God’s mercy.

Through your Immaculate Heart,
bring peace to our world,
strength to the Church,
and salvation to all souls.
Amen.
