Shockingly, Comic book customers have recently responded w/ their Purses & Pocket-book$ and possibly appear to no longer be presently purchasing Marvel comic books ....
Especially those written by industry main-stay & renown Justice League maestro, Mark Waid (see: JLA "Tower of Babel" it's really that good).

Mr.Waid has apparently assumed vocal leadership; for A rude, politically hateful group of supposed "comic pros". Creators who are mainly van-guarded by A disenfranchised Neo-group of comic rookies. Anti-Pavlovian Newbs, who consistently respond (mainly online) too any & all criticism's as "Racist Nazi bigotry!!". They seem relentlessly hell-bent on pushing far-left progressive ideals and unnecessary avant garde sensibilities, into american comics. Which drastically opposes Long tenured Mainstay processes'. I.e. Classic styled comic book mysteries; connective cross-overs & sometimes simplified, self-contained tropes. That often connect past events into A larger joined tapestry of continual Mythology. Old school techniques and main-stream comic story-telling frameworks. That this new Politically charged group wants to purge from the industry. Meanwhile pushing their absurd; simplified & highly diversified--Marxist like narrative! An agenda that both backseats and waters-down flagship characters simultaneously.

ALL OF WHICH HAS BEEN LOOSELY DEFINED AS "comicsgate"...
The now popular hashtag #comicsgate--can routinely be found on twitter & across the blogosphere.

Recently Marvel's Mark Waid, Blew A Gasket when his archenemy; Richard Meyers, the Youtuber 'Diversity & Comics' channel (colloquially "Cracking Zack"/ "Your Boi Zack" &/or "D&C") reached OVER $300,000.00 via an 'IndieGoGo' campaign! A project named "JAWBREAKERS".. Which Richard Meyers launched. To put A more classic scribed original graphic novel, with main stream styled illustrations (by Jon Malin) out onto the market. Mr.Waid, engulfed in frustration & thoroughly insulted by "JAWBREAKERS" overnight success. FOOLISHLY resorted to Mafia like tactics and threatened Mr. Meyers publisher--Antarctic Press! Scared for the future of his company. Due to the Heavy handed pressure applied by Marvel comics Big Wig (Bully-boy Mark Waid). Anarctic Press called Mr.Meyers- reportedly "in tears" & canceled the "JAWBREAKERS" richly funded printing contract.
