Everyone knows about 2 counters to BBQ & CHILLI in Dead By Daylight (90% of killers run this perk) yet too many players do not counter it and end up hooked or lose match because of it. This short video will show you a 3rd counter that is faster and safer. The 3 counters are as follows:

1) HIDING IN LOCKER just before a hook and waiting 4 seconds after person is hooked before exiting, this counter works but it has 2 drawbacks. 1st it takes you away from generator repairs and 2nd if the killer is running the IRON MAIDEN perk you will expose yourself and scream which reveals you for 4 seconds.

2) GETTING INTO KILLERS TERROR RADIUS just before the hook. This counter also works but has 2 drawbacks as well. 1st it also takes you away from generator repairs and 2nd if the killer is running the INFECTIOUS FRIGHT perk you will scream and reveal yourself for 4 seconds.

3) PUT THE GENERATOR BETWEEN YOURSELF AND THE HOOK just before the person gets hooked. the generator MUST be in repair mode but not completed, you crouch down just a short distance from generator, wait until 4 seconds after person is hooked and then resume your repairs. The pros to this tactic are that 1st there is no killer perk to counter it and 2nd its fast, safe and allows you to get back to repairing the generator quickly and your aura will be hidden from the killer by the partially repaired generators aura.
