Part08: Gmail: How to change, customise and share Gmail theme and background including default and personalised themes?

To change and customise theme in Gmail account:
• Open any web browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Explorer
• Visit: www.gmail.com
• Sign in to your Gmail account using your username and password
• At the top right, click the gear Settings
• Click Setting , Theme tabs , Set Theme
• Or Click Setting,Themes
• Click any Theme to use in Gmail. There are two types of theme at Gmail
o Classic Gmail themes near the bottom
o Custom themes by Google users at the top
• Classic Theme: These themes are provide by Google. There are total 36 classic themes. The last classic theme is the random theme.

• Custom Theme: Custom themes option allow to add three types effects:
Text Background -Light or Dark type
Vignette – Make corner darker
Blur – Make background image blur

• To change effects, Click on the icon and change the parameter
Text Background Effect-Light
Text Background Effect-Dark
Vignette Effect – 0%
Vignette Effect – 100%
Blur Effect – 0%
Blur Effect – 100%
• After applying effect, press save button which will change the Gmail theme
• In addition, Click More images on the last image in the custom themes section. It will show Featured Gmail Theme which are shared by other Gmail Users. You can customise to apply your Gmail account
• To create your own theme, Click the other tabs:
o My Photos tabs – to create themes from your Google Photo library
o Upload a photo - to create themes using Photo from your computer
o Paste a URL - to create themes using web photo link
o Recently Selected - to create themes from recently used themes
To share customise theme in Gmail account:
• Click Setting , Theme tabs , Set Theme
• Or Click Setting ,Themes
• Find your custom theme, and Click Share Icon
• There are three option to share theme at Gmail
o Send an email
o Share on Google+
o Share by a link
To delete customise theme in Gmail account:
• Click Setting , Theme tabs , Set Theme
• Or Click Setting ,Themes
• Find your custom theme, and Click Delete Icon
