Irma & Eranda Libohova - Nuk te harroj (Albania 1987)

EUROVISION SPECIAL! This evening it's Eurovision Song Contest here in Sweden (Malmö) and I take the opportunity to share some rare and more forgotten Eurovision related tracks from the 70's and 80's.

Albania entered the Eurovision stage in 2004. But since the 60's they held their own song contest every year, Festival i Këngës, and since 2004 this competition has also been used to select the Albanian entry for Eurovision.
So, in 1987 during a time of rather hard-line communist regime, this cute song with the sisters Irma & Eranda Libohova won the Festival i Këngës. The final was held in December 1987 and it's interesting to imagine that in a better world this song could have been Albania's contribution in the Eurovision Song Contest 1988. And it might even have done quite well in the competition, right?
This is a live version, probably not released on record back then.
