IYD 2024 Youth Roundtable Discussion

International Youth Day (IYD) is a significant occasion dedicated to celebrating the contributions and potential of young people around the world. Established by the United Nations in 2000, this annual event provides a platform for youth to voice their issues, showcase their achievements, and advocate for positive change. As a youth-led organization, SieDi-Hub proudly upholds the tradition of celebrating IYD, reflecting our commitment to empowering young people and amplifying their voices.

This year, SieDi-Hub hosted the second edition of the roundtable discussion themed “Youth, Governance, and the Nigerian Economy: Navigating Challenges and Embracing Opportunities.” This hybrid event brought together young leaders, innovators, and advocates to explore how youth can shape and influence Nigeria’s economic and governance landscapes.
