1881 - Dr. Modest Furest Roca scientifically confirms the mineral-medicinal properties of the water that emerges from a spring in Caldes de Malavella (Girona) and decides to acquire it , as well as the adjacent lands.
1890 - The Vichy Catalan brand is registered , months after opening the first bottling plant.
1891 - First stone of the Vichy Catalan spa , whose inauguration of the complete complex was in 1904.
1959 - Inauguration of the “novísima”, an innovative bottling plant at the fore in the bottled water market, with the capacity to fill 6,000 quarter-liter bottles per hour .
1967 - Technological innovation in the plant continues by acquiring a new machine with the capacity to fill 20,000 liter bottles per hour .
1979 - The company undertakes a diversification strategy and acquires new springs and prestigious brands : 1979 : Acquisition of the brand of carbonated natural mineral water Malavella 1986 : Incorporation of the Font d'Or and Les Creus natural mineral water brands 1988 : Incorporation of the Font del Regàs natural mineral water brand 1994 : Incorporation of the Aguas de Mondariz and Fuente del Val brands 1999 : Incorporation of the Lambda juice and nectars brand 2004 : Incorporation of the Monte Pinos natural mineral water brand
1992 - Vichy Catalan and Font d'Or are chosen " Olympic Waters " at the Olympic Games. Barcelona'92
2012 - Launch of the first carbonated natural mineral water packed in cans and with a biodegradable lid. This same year the Vichy Catalan Flavors 0% Sugar range was also launched . The full range was left in 2015 with the flavors: Lemon, Orange, Lime-Lemon, Mint and the Vichy Catalan Premium Tonic Water
2016 - Aguas de Mondariz is considered the Best Water in the World as it is the only brand that has received 2 Diamond Taste Awards , the prestigious award designated by the International Institute of Taste and Quality (ITQi) of Brussels.
