My Fleetwood Highlander Niagara Pop-Up Camper Gets a New Axle & Lift to Fix a Tire Wear Problem!

All of these Fleetwood Highlander models made in the 2000's came from the factory with an undersized 3500 lb. axle which when barely loaded the axle would flex causing tire wear. Bad tire wear! In this video I explain what I did, the pros and cons to doing it and why you should do this too if you have one of if you are thinking about buying one.

Dexter 5200 lb. custom made axle with 5 lug spindle. Contact your local trailer company to have them special order it. It took 4 weeks to arrive. My cost was a bit under $500 installed.
