We have some VERY exciting news... We recently welcomed two baby patas monkeys! Iniko gave birth to the first baby, a girl named Sisu (See-sue), on April 26. Her older sister Kasi gave birth to another little girl, named Mushu (Moo-sho), on May 11. Read the full press release on our website: https://bit.ly/4dxSKEP

After both Iniko and Kasi struggled to demonstrate the maternal instincts necessary to raise their young, our veterinarian and primate care specialists determined that the best way to ensure the health of both babies was to hand-raise them in the Animal Health Center ICU. As the babies develop, their care team has begun to introduce them to the troop behind the scenes.

Guests may come see Sisu and Mushu daily from 10:15 to 11 a.m. and 2 to 2:45 p.m. at the Animal Health Center ICU viewing windows.
