Perfect Binding | Risograph - Pass Me By Comic Book

Hi everyone!

This is a video documenting the process of making a perfect-bound riso book. Please note that each studio has different resources and capacities. Pindot is a really small studio and we don't have electric cutters or a perfect binding machine, so we had to work with other printers/a bindery to get these books finished. :-D We don't very often do perfect binding jobs because of our limitations. I'm really happy that we got the opportunity to work with Kyle and Ryan on their book, not just because it's really amazing work, but also because it gave me the opportunity to show you what goes into this process.

One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that the covers are laser printed, not riso printed. :-D

Production Notes:

I got really busy in March and April because I started a new job and so I couldn't edit and upload a video. I'm really glad that I was able finally to find some time to edit and upload this one because it was a pretty big project for the studio.

I have a few other videos lined up so I'm really looking forward to getting back into the swing of things. I don't think I'll be able to upload weekly because my job but I'm aiming for every other week at this point.
