Lt. Gen. Charles D. Luckey, chief of the Army Reserve and commanding general, U.S. Army Reserve Command, engages with Soldiers who are prepared to save lives thanks to the advanced medical training they receive through Global Medic, an annual training exercise run by the Medical Readiness and Training Command at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin.

Global Medic is a strategic, joint and multinational exercise that incorporates more than 2,000 troops from all branches of the military, along with several international allies, including Canada, Germany and Britain. MRTC is a subordinate command of Army Reserve Medical Command, headquartered in Pinellas Park, Florida.
