We live on a water planet and yet, less than 1% of Earth’s water is fresh and available for drinking. For the Noke Koi, an Indigenous tribe living deep in the Amazon rainforest of Acre, Brazil, clean water is not a given.

Each day, they carry water by hand from the river - water that must be boiled before it is safe to drink.
