This useful fingering will help you add a note to Basic Scale, expand your flute playing vocabulary and even help you play a lot of familiar tunes. In this video, you will learn the fingering, some tips for practicing it and hear how it can be used to play two familiar seasonal songs.

There are still many beautiful songs to be played in Basic Scale, but learning just a few new fingerings opens up lots of new musical possibilities. Jump in and explore.

There are a couple places where there is clipping in the audio because I got too close to the microphone trying to demonstrate something on flute. There are also a few places where my fingers are out of focus when they shouldn't be. Sorry! Better next time...
