This update covers construction work through February 3, 2018 Crews in this segment have made a lot of progress on the earthwork, acquired all property, placed most of the Salt River Bridge, and closed down Elliot/Southern roads through March 2018 to construct the interchanges. Over the next month, crews will continue construction on the Elliot and Southern Road interchanges, constructing box culverts near Baseline Road and Estrella Drive, relocating utilities, construct a dirt embankment south of Broadway Road, and continue placing girders on the Salt River Bridge.

Remember to slow down and drive safely in construction zones!
