Hello :)

This is the requested transcription I did of the Eric Clapton song "The Core" from his 1977 album "Slow Hand". Carl Radle was the bass player on this track.

I don't normally do 9 minutes songs, but this request came from such a long time and good supporter of mine that I was more than happy to do it for him. I hope you enjoy it Frank :)

Is it me, or is the tuning one this kind of strange? I just couldn't seem to get myself in tune. I tuned up 10cents...but I'm not sure it helped?! I think they were in some different kind of tuning on this day ;)

On measure 22. While I was editing this after I recorded the video, I heard a high A that I hadn't heard before. I couldn't leave it out of the transcription. So the transcription has been corrected, but what I played hasn't. I just didn't have the energy to go back and record the whole song for one 8th note...sorry about that :)

It's a pretty straight forward bass line, but the rhythm makes it looks tougher than what it is. I think the rhythm on this one comes pretty instinctively. There are just a few variations that he puts in that you got to watch out for and that prevented me from using a lot more repeats than what I wished I could have ;)
