Is YouTube the way forward for content creators?

Google is again releasing its usual algorithm updates, which will help or hinder every small online publisher like us. Anyway, enough of that, we are moving into putting more time into creating our YouTube channel and monetizing it as another source of income.

We are Mark and Bec, a middle-aged couple with 2 kids who will soon fly the nest.

We aim to transition from Monday through Friday, 9 to 5, and work into a digital nomad couple who can live location-independent lives as content creators and bloggers wherever we choose.

We have the next few years to make this happen. We currently live and work in a small town in Australia. Do you think a middle-aged couple can be digital nomads? Or is this only for young people?
