Hi friends,
In this video , I am sharing my experience with an disease usually seen in the white finches, zebra finch, long tail finches, gouldian finches, African love bird and other exotic pets. the legs of the bird become so bulky and forms layers of scales in leg. this is a bacterial infection and we need closely observations to find the leg issue. this bacteria form from poops of birds and untide, dirty surfaces. this bacterial infections can be affected even if our nest is clean. during the breeding process, the birds will sit upon their eggs for many days, it poops inside the breeding box and sit upon it. as days passes, the bacteria will begin to grow and easily catch our birds.. the bird's legs are soft skined and bacteria affect easily in legs. gradually the bacteria begin to replicate and suckks the blood from bird's skin..it makes the skin dead and the dead skin will stick on the legs. this is what we seen in birds leg and unfortunately most of us notice this disease in this stage.. this need to be treated and need to give special attention to our birds. if we are neglected this , this will Leeds to death of our pet birds. here I am sharing my experience.
I used moisturising cream ( vaseline ) and its worked. I am sharing this only because I have a positive result from this.
I have observed all this facts from my experience. I was unable to go to vatinery hospital with my bird due to lockdown is running here and I am forced to try this treatment. friends, I suggest all of you to give vatinery doctors care to our pets if you can.
