When you are suffering from overwhelm due to the stress of living with a partner with ADHD then you may feel like you just need to escape. I know for me this has been the case. I have wanted to walk away; actually I have wanted to run away many times. What kept me with my partner and what keeps me currently with my partner is the love we share. However, love is not always enough when you are dealing with the extremes of ADHD.

For both the non-ADHD and ADHD partners, you are precious, and you need to take care of yourself before you can even think about caring for others. Take some time today to make yourself HAPPY. It is possible, and I challenge you to try.
