unity gain is around 11 o clock so there is alot of boost available, the texture knob seems like an input gain knob and reducing it cleans up your signal a bit, so using that knob with the other knobs you can get some really nice low gain and overdrive tones. all the knobs have a nice range on them ...it's not all in the last ten percent of the turn

no rf signals, it's relatively low noise for a vintage fuzz and it's not temperamental, it just works in nearly any situation
