After covering the protests across the country, we were astonished by how incomplete the media picture was, and how hellbent FOX and MSNBC seemed to be on dividing Americans. Our media diet is making us angry, tired, and depressed, and what’s happening in reality is a more optimistic picture. We can all create the change we want to see in the world, NOW, by coming together under a fucking Facebook group, but we’ve been scared into submission by hate-mongerers. The only good news is that I am pumped to die for this cause, and will go down in a hilarious blaze of glory trying to defend what I see in the real world. The common ground. The win-wins. The friendship. The fun. The cause is resurrecting independent journalism through documentary and video over the course of my life.

The antidote to the madness is for modest, freethinking people to embrace the Devil’s energy, speak enthusiastically, and without fear of others’ reactions. Make your desires known, first to you, then to others, and then find mutual benefits. Jump into the dirty party of life and try not to become a jerk. With this new sauce, we can tip the balance against the a-holes. We just have to hold ourselves to the highest standards of truth we can, since that is our game and our sport, and because we don’t want to become part of the sausage.
