We went to Agrigento to see the famous Scala dei Turchi, but unfortunately it was closed :(
the landmark was temporarily closed and seized by prosecutors in early 2020 after years of complaints about it's poor preservation.
The city, however, exceeded our expectations; it was stunning and filled with interesting sites.
We also couldn't manage to visit Scopello, because of Sicily's poor internal transportation, so instead we went to Trapani.
