The Holy Father Pope Francis appointed Most Rev. Thomas Obiatuegwu the Auxiliary Bishop of Orlu. On the 20th day of March, 2024 he was consecrated by His Lordship Most Rev. Augustine T. Ukwuoma at Holy Trinity Catholic cathedral, Orlu in presence of multitude of bishops, priests and, religious and lay faithful.
