DIY guide - 2014 Kia Sportage 2.0 CRDI: Change the front brake discs (rotors) and pads

My dad's Kia Sportage was due for a front brake change. The pads were worn down to less than 1 mm and the rotors were also below recommended thickness. So I decided to do the brake job myself, using ATE coated rotors and ATE Ceramic pads.
