On July 20th, 2025, while patrolling a residential area, an officer initiated a traffic stop after observing a gray sedan fail to come to a complete stop at a stop sign. What began as a routine stop quickly escalated into a chaotic and emotional confrontation, captured entirely on police body camera.

The driver repeatedly refused to provide her license, registration, and proof of insurance, demanding the officer explain the reason for the stop first. Despite the officer stating he had two lawful reasons for the stop, the situation deteriorated as family members became involved and the driver resisted commands.

The encounter intensified when the driver exited the vehicle, resisted officers, made threats, and claimed she was a law student who knew her rights. Multiple officers were required to restrain and secure her as she continued to resist arrest and assault officers.
