my story about photos, video files and text messages that I stored in my smartphone on the internal memory (of an intimate nature).
One Sunny day, I dropped my smartphone from my hands and smashed the display, as a result of which the sensor did not respond to touch. To take the smartphone to repair, I needed to somehow upload the files that I stored in a separate folder on the internal memory of the smartphone without syncing with the Google cloud (Google account), so I could not copy or delete them from the computer, (I think many people have personal files).
I was lucky (another possibility is described below), my smartphone was able to connect different peripherals (flash drive, SSD, keyboard, mouse) via OTG cable (USB OTG adapter), so I connected a computer mouse through it and was able to enter a digital password (or graphic key) on the smartphone and deleting personal correspondence, copying the necessary information sent to E-mail (e-mail - Email) and passed the smartphone for repair.
Having learned from experience I made conclusions for myself when buying a new smartphone:
Buy a Bluetooth mouse. Connect to your smartphone and do not turn off Bluetooth in your smartphone and when your display fails for any reason, you just need to get the Bluetooth mouse, insert the batteries and it will automatically connect to your smartphone, but many people do not want to keep Bluetooth always on for various reasons, including battery consumption, then ....
2. Make sure when buying a new smartphone that there is support for OTG cable and when your display fails for any reason, you can do the same as I did, but it also happens that the USB connector fails when you fall ...
3. Then there is only a full reset (Hard Reset) to factory settings and deleting all smartphone data by pressing the necessary keys (each brand has its own keys), but then you need to know exactly the data that You entered when you first started the smartphone (write it in Notepad), it is also advisable to check whether synchronization with your Google account is enabled and then you can at least restore some data, as well as view the files you allowed to sync on your computer in your Google account.
4. if you can install a memory card (microSD), then store your favorite files on it and specify microSD in the photo settings.
