3POD Wander Aluminum Travel Tripod - Worth it?

I got the 3Pod Wander Tripod because it LOOKS very similar in design to the Peak Design Travel Tripod.

The 3Pod is DEFINITELY LONGER than the Peak Design when all folded up, it's NOT as compact, and it's heavier. But it's also taller when extended.

Unfortunately, the foot-design is a "no-go" for me, and I don't think it's well designed in that area.
