This universal remote control from SofaBaton rocks! I've been using a Harmony Remote for years and while it works, I was always perplexed with how complicated it was to set up and use (as well as how big and bulky it is). The SofaBaton U1 corrects a lot of Harmony's mistakes. It uses an app to set it up so you don't have to plug it into your computer or anything. The app is fairly simple. You can pick your device from their list of thousands, but if it happens to not be in there, the remote can also learn IR signals from any existing remote you have. Once you've set up remote control for all of your devices, the real magic begins. You can have any key on a remote for a specific device trigger something on another device if you want and you can also create macros to control several things with one button push. Also the remote is light weight and feels very comfortable in the hand and it's SO simple to switch between devices. This company really hit the ball out of the park with this awesome remote control. Works for Apple TV, Nvidia Shield; TiVo; Roku (with IR Sensors), TV and Blu-Ray Players from Samsung, LG, Sony, TCL, Hisense, Vizio, Panasonic, and any other manufacturer; cable boxes from Spectrum, Cox, Frontier, DirecTV, Dish TV, and all others; AVR Receivers from any brand such as Denon, Yamaha, Onkyo, Pioneer, Marantz, and any other manufacturer. It also works with bluetooth remote controlled devices such as Amazon FireTV. Basically, due to the learning capability you can control ANY IR device with this remote! In this demonstration, I explain all the features and why I love this remote as well as showing you how to set up the remote and demoing how well it works with my setup. This also works with Apple TV to give you a true Fast Forward and Rewind button!
