CAPERCAILLIE HUNTING (TOPPJAKT 2021) - HOW WE HUNT

Capercaillie hunting in the winter (also called toppjakt in Swedish) is a highlight for many, me included. Last year we were unlucky with the weather, but this year we at least had snow. As the apparent conditions grew better and better, our hopes grew too. However, just because the conditions are right does not mean that the birds will show up, or that the hunter does not take a wrong step. Did we manage to catch the capercaillie? Maybe 2021 started off better than 2020 - you certainly would hope so.
