HRIDAYAM - A quiet retirement home in Kerala with luscious landscape | ArchPro Home Tour

HRIDAYAM- is situated in a tranquil space with luscious landscape away from an urban context for the client to enjoy a peaceful and quiet retirement.

The design objective was to stay humble in the usage of materials, staying close to nature by opening up the interiors to the surrounding vegetation to create a serene environment. The home opens up to a spacious double heighted living area where the family spends most of their time.

All other spaces diverge from the living area with adequate privacy and character to each room. The color palette used are shades of white, gray which compliments the premises of the home and yellow to highlight spaces.

The interiors were designed in an antique style with refurbished wood and the furniture used were all custom made.
