Remove the Physical Key: Start by sliding the small lever on the back of the key fob to release the physical key. Remove the key and set it aside.

Open the Key Fob: Look for two slots on one side of the key fob. Using a small screwdriver or tweezers, insert the tool into one of these slots. Gently twist the screwdriver to pry open the fob. Do this for both sides until the fob is slightly open.

Separate the Two Halves: Carefully pull apart the two halves of the key fob. One side will have the battery, and the other will have the circuit board. Avoid touching the circuit board to prevent any damage.

Remove the Old Battery: The battery is held in place by small springs. On the side without any text (usually the positive side), gently lift the battery out using your tool. This is usually a CR2032 battery.

Insert the Physical Key: Finally, slide the physical key back into its slot. If you have a keychain attached, it doesn’t need to be removed during this process.
