The plastic straw ban has been a problem for a few years now. Many disabled people need single-use plastic straws, and the existing alternatives are not feasible for a variety of reasons. I've noticed that people expose their ableist attitudes and beliefs when the straw ban is discussed, which is why I post about this topic often on my social media.
