Learning has many facets. Certainly in jazz, learning by listening, by playing together, is one of the most important aspects of getting inside the music and learning. The experience of playing, of performing with our teachers, is valued as a formative experience by our students. We are therefore developing formats that make these experiences a regular part of the curriculum.
