Welcome back for another 'Winds of Winter' update video. In this video, I will be talking about some of George R.R. Martin's comments regarding the ending of his A Song of Ice and Fire saga. As you all know, George R.R. Martin has been writing A Song of Ice and Fire for over 30 years. According to the author, he will need to publish 7 novels in order to complete his story. Unfortunatly, this story has gone stagnant due to the fact that George hasn't been able to complete the Winds of Winter, the sixth volume in A Song of Ice and Fire. He has now been writing this novel for nearly 14 years. The fans are concerned with his ability or desire to finish his own story. As another year goes by, George R.R. Martin seems to become more and more disinterested with writing the Winds of Winter. He is easily distrated by his other half-dozen projects that are in the works. How likely is he to finish A Dream of Spring, if it has taken him roughly 15 years to complete the Winds of Winter? Many fans would like to see George hire a ghostwriter, or at least bring in some other writers to help him finish the story. Unfortunately, George R.R. Martin claims he won't ever allow another writing to write in his universe. Not while he's alive. This means we may never see his original ending for A Song of Ice and Fire...
