Puffed Rice Written Recipe With Directions

Ingredients For Puffed Rice:

-Rice (Sella chawal) 1 cup
-Lahori salt (namak) ½ tsp
-Water (pani) 2 tbs
-Cooking oil

Ingredients For Chat:

-Puffed Rice
-Salt (namak) to taste
-Tomato (tamatar) without seeds chopped to taste
-Green chillies (hari mirch) chopped to taste
-Onion (piyaz)  chopped 1 tbs
-Chat Masala ½  tsp
-Fresh coriander (dhania)
-Fresh mint (podina)
-Lemon (nimbu) juice

Directions:

-In a bowl, add Lahori salt and water. Mix well.
-Add rice and mix well. Cover and leave it for 15 mins.
-In a pan, add rice and dry roast until light brown in colour. Then, bring it out to a bowl and set aside.
-In a deep pan, add cooking oil and heat it. Use a strainer to fry the rice. Bring it out to a tray and let it cool.
-For chat, in a bowl, add puffed rice, salt, tomato, green chillies, onion, chat masala, fresh coriander, fresh mint, and lemon. Mix well.
-Dish out, serve and enjoy!
