The term “spinal decompression” gets thrown around a lot by different healthcare professionals who treat spine problems. Often each person describes a different treatment for a range of problems. In this video I outline the different meanings and when they are used.

I started The Spine MDT to build a network of all the different professions of spine care (osteopathy, physiotherapy, chiropractic and pain management) under my oversight as a spinal neurosurgeon to keep open and clear channels of communication between the people treating my patients. This has helped patients find the least invasive solution that gives the longest lasting result.
