Season 1 ended in the Elite Eight, but following a mediocre second season, Tang was armed with an enormous NIL budget and a new contract following an offseason flirtation with Arkansas for this third go-around. Now at 6-3 with just two non-conference games remaining, his talented roster isn't measuring up anywhere close to those expectations he set.
