After investing so much in my new Pick & Place machine, I found that it is so efficient that I can do a run of boards one day and then it might sit for weeks or a couple months. I decided I needed to ensure my parts are kept dry and I wanted the whole unit to be dust free. A used GE French Door refrigerator was used as my dry box. This same concept could be used to make a draft-free heated enclosure for a 3D printer for doing ABS or other temperature sensitive filaments. I will be purchasing bulk desiccant that can be regenerated in the oven to keep things dry inside the enclosure.
