What you need to know before visiting Clifty Falls State Park | Top things to do in Indiana

We took a weekend trip with our dog Chloe to Madison, Indiana where Clifty Falls State Park is located. Neither of us had been before but heard there were some really great hikes and some beautiful water falls. We went on quite the adventure to find the first waterfall. We thought we had a good plan from looking at the map but what we thought was a trail wasn't so we had to hike for over 2 hours to finally get to it, we thought it would take this long to get to 2 of them not just one lol. We couldn't find any signs that were super clear on how to get to Clifty Falls but we hike up a stream and faced some obstacles along the way but the water fall at the end was so worth it. The waterproof boots were definitely a good choice. Once we soaked up the beauty at Clifty Falls we headed back to the car had a quick lunch and then decided to drive to Tunnel Falls and Hoffman falls and view them from look out points since we already had quite the adventure getting to the first waterfall of the day. Many people along the way cemented and loved Chloe's backpack because they had never seen one before. This was such a life save so she didn't have to get covered in dirt and try to hike up the stream. K9 Sportsack is where we got the backpack from and we love it. We had so much fun adventuring together and got some exercise in along the way.
