Our latest podcast guest Deputy Jana Demperio works the desk at our North District Station and she wrote a song to reminisce at some of the actual phone calls she has received at work. The desk deputy answers phone calls and greets visitors, but they also take on cases that can be investigated from the desk, or do the initial investigation of things that can be followed up on by a patrol deputy. She may joke about some of the more unbelievable phone calls but she truly does love engaging with the public and in instances like the ones in this video “she would help you, if she could.”
