Does BOAT LIFE get any better than this? Plus an Unexpected Follower

This week I head over to Oakwood Marina with fellow boaters to sample the wonderful Pizza's
cooked by boater Rob and have a few drinks in the Jolly Roger pub which is an old boat conversion. I then I cruise The Rum Wench towards Anderton to trade as the Pirate Boat for the weekend while being followed for miles by a feathery friend.

After selling my house to experience an alternative lifestyle I bought a canal boat and a camper van which as a solo female who loves to travel, gives me the best of both worlds. I have recently got myself a new addition to the crew, a fabulous companion - my little rescue dog Bonny who is an absolute joy and the perfect First Mate. I also work full time off grid from my tiny home and trade at canal festivals as The Narrowboat Pirate aboard The Pirate Boat.
