We totally strip the front and of the Fairlane and remove the steering box. The usual consumable wear with the front end; upper and lower control arm and radius rod bushes, sad looking tie rod ends, totally knackered spring saddles and a pair of unwanted 6 cylinder springs. But, the part I was interested in was the leaky steering box, which virtually ran along the chassis rail to the back seat area! So we pull the steering box out and disassemble it to take a look.
