The students are doing the Miami OBC parade, the year 2021 and we are the Icon Prep School Rattlers.

These students have fantastic rhythm and sync perfectly with each other. With months of training, they surely know how to execute a perfect performance.
➡️ Family and friends of these students come to support their performance as well as random spectators taking out their phones to film the Rattlers as they march off to their destination.

Dr. Raiford currently serves as the Board of Director’s President and Superintendent of Schools. He was also the Founding Principal for Icon Preparatory School and worked in the field of education for over 18 years.
➡️ Since his inception into the field of education, he has worked in multiple roles including regional coordinator, area coordinator, teacher, department chair, assistant principal, content specialist, advisory panel member and chief executive officer.

Dr. Raiford has successfully worked to turn around schools in the states of Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas and California.
➡️ He served as a 2013 Teach for America Corp Member in Houston, Texas and has earned his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Educational Leadership from Florida A&M University, completed a doctoral dissertation regarding supplemental education and its impact on student academic achievement and was selected as an American Education Research Association Clark Scholar.

Dr. Raiford has consistently led teachers and students to achieve academic excellence producing scholars who have ranked among the highest performing students on state assessments in multiple regions of the United States ✅
