එඩේරගල වන සෙනසුන පිහිටා ඇත්තේ දඹුල්ල නගරයේ සිට හබරණ දෙසට ඇති ත්‍රීකුණාමලය ප්‍රධාන මාර්ගයේ ඉනාමලුව හන්දියට ආසන්නව එඩේරගල කන්ද ප්‍රදේශයේ ය.

ප්‍රධාන මාර්ගයේ සිට සේනාසනයට ප්‍රවේශ වීමට මීටර 200 පමණ දුරක් යා යුතුය.

කුඩා වන ලැහැබක් තුල ඉදිකර ඇති මෙම සේනාසනය භාවනායෝගී භික්ෂුන් වහන්සේලාට කදිම තෝතැන්නක්.

ඉතා විශාල ගල් පර්වත වලින් වටවී ඇති අතර ස්වභාවයෙන්ම ඉතා නිස්කලංක පරිසරයක් මෙම සේනාසනය තුල ඇත.

මෙම විහාරයේ ගොඩනැගිලි කිහිපයක් හැරුණු කොට සෙසු ගොඩනැගිලි ඉදිකර ඇත්තේ ගල් ලෙන් තුල වීමද විශේෂත්වයකි.

මෙම සේනාසනය තුල දැකිය හැකි සුවිශේෂීතාව වන්නෙ උස්වූ කදු මුදුනක සේනාසනයේ චෛත්‍ය රාජයාණන් වහන්සේ නිර්මාණය කර තිබීම වගේම චෛත්‍යය රාජයාණන් වහන්සේ පිහිටි භූමිය වටා අංශක 360 ක පරිසරයක් එකවර බලා ගත හැකි වීමත්‍ ය.


Ederagala Wana Senasuna is located in the Ederagala mountain area near the Inamaluwa junction on the Trincomalee main road from Dambulla towards Habarana.

From the main road, visiters have to walk about 200 meters to access Senasana.

This senasana was built in a small forest, this senasana is a perfect haven for meditative monks.

This senasa already serrounded by huge rocks, this senasana has a very quiet natural environment

It is also special that,many buildings of this senasa was built in stone caves except few buildings.

The uniqueness that can be seen in this Senasana is that the Chaitya has been created in Senasana on a highly elevated mountain and that you can simultaneously look at a 360 degree environment around the site where Chaitya is located.
