The venue looked like the one… until it wasn’t. 🌴

Today on Wedding Wednesdays, this is the FINAL stop on our venue hunt! We toured Valentine in Downtown LA and as an artist I instantly loved the place!

The huge skylight.
The plants.
The art on the walls.
The cute bar.
The rolling doors separating the ceremony from reception.
So much space for a photo booth, dance floor, and still room to breathe. Plus a patio moment for fresh air and maybe even a late night food truck.

It checked almost every box.

But here’s where I paused…

Parking is off-site and not in the safest area. There are no separate getting ready rooms for the bride and groom unless we pay extra for an off site space. The plants are gorgeous but we do worry about flies during the ceremony and reception.

And, the Saturday price is $17,000 for 150 guests which is over budget.

So… should we make the call on this one or keep looking?
