The Cure in Honolulu Friday I'm in Love

The Cure in Honolulu at the Neal Blaisdell. This was the 6th show I saw and like all the other shows it was WONDERFUL! They changed the playlist up and played both un-radio played songs and some of their most popular hits.

For years it's seemed that the "deeper" Cure fans have snubbed Friday I'm in Love, which is silly to me because it was this song that turned The Cure from a band that I just liked into my favorite band! I had listened to their music since I was 8 because my older sister played them, but when I heard this song, on the cusp of summer 1992, it took me across a bridge where I listened and began to appreciate ALL their songs.
