A superbike is best enjoyed in swift motion, so sit back and take a look at our brand-new flyby footage of the Ducati 999.

We filmed on a hot summer day. After a lot of sweat for both the man on the bike and the man behind the camera, I’ve put together the best shots of acceleration and a little bit of engine braking. Of course, we had to mix in a few takes of the dry clutch and the exhaust sound of the mighty testastretta l-twin as well. And since we were already there, we couldn’t resist a few beauty shots of Pierre Terblanche’s hotly discussed design either… 😉

I recently posted a revving comparison between the Ducati 916 SPS and the 999 and some of you asked for a comparison of flybys, so here you go. You will find flybys of the SPS and a 998 on my channel. Again, the 999 comes with the standard exhaust, while the others use carbon Termignonis, but the 999 does produce a very elegant melody no matter what, if you ask me.
