Epic adventure films of the 1980's were a huge inspiration for me growing up and still are as evident in the videos I produce. In the movie "First Blood" (1982), the character of "John Rambo" (Played by Sylvester Stallone) was a veteran Green Beret who was forced by a cruel Sheriff and his deputies to flee into the mountains of the Pacific Northwest and wage an escalating one-man war against his pursuers.

The movie was so successful that name "Rambo" became synonymous with an extraordinary person who could survive in the wilderness against all odds. After hearing rumors online for years and doing a little research, I learned that the original film set as well as the truck Rambo rested on are still up in the Canadian wilderness, exactly where they were when First Blood was filmed 43 years ago. I HAD to see them in person and I knew my viewers would want to as well so I packed my bags, flew to Vancouver, BC, Canada and hiked thru the overgrown, snake infested woods, over the same waterfalls Rambo did, to the original RAMBO First Blood (1982) Filming Location set deep in the Canadian Wilderness.
